Krysia Howard

Krysia Howard is an English-born textile artist based in Ibiza. Her work is deeply linked to sustainability and respect for nature. Krysia explores the regenerative potential of wool, transforming it into tapestries and artistic pieces that she creates in her workshop on the island. Her works reflect the connection between art, community and the environment, rescuing traditional and conscious processes that highlight the relationship between craftsmanship and nature.

With a deep knowledge of natural dyeing, Krysia uses organic materials to dye her own yarns, generating beautiful color palettes.

Krysia’s logo is inspired by the loom, her main tool for creating tapestries. The vibrant color palette is based on the tones that predominate in her work, influenced by the years she lived in Mexico. To complete her visual identity, a geometric typography was chosen that harmonizes with the geometric shapes of the logo.
